About School Progress Ltd

School progress was founded in 2013 by Francis Foster, a former Head Teacher who now works as an Education Consultant with schools in Leeds and Bradford. Along with early years teachers and professional software engineers, we have developed an Early Years Assessment Software system in line with the principles outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Following numerous discussions with early years staff, who were telling us that increasing demands on their time meant that assessment, recording and reporting tasks were being compromised, the staff were feeling completely overwhelmed with paper records and tick sheets. Hence the reason we developed the software.

In the children centres, early years settings and primary schools our software has proven to be an invaluable aid to hard working, busy professionals. Using advanced technology, our assessment system has saved hours of work for the teachers and support staff in the time taken for assessment, manual recording and reporting tasks such as the Learning Journey Portfolio. All records of observations, assessments, recording and reporting can now be completed electronically using the latest, user friendly technology built into School Progress software. The software allows staff to handle data across different fields and enables teachers and managers to evaluate classes, cohorts and track the progress of all individual pupils and vulnerable groups.

We truly believe that our software can be a valuable asset to both nurseries and primary schools alike. Contact us now for a free demonstration into how the software could work for you.
